Starting January 1st, 2025, KDB Law is excited to announce an initiative designed to open up time and space for individuals considering a career in the legal field.

Whether you are looking to become a paralegal, law clerk, or lawyer, this program aims to provide invaluable mentorship and foster connections among those navigating the complexities of stepping into this challenging yet rewarding profession.

We understand that the journey into the legal world can feel daunting and filled with uncertainty. In these pivotal moments, having someone to turn to for advice, to ask questions, or to simply brainstorm ideas can make all the difference!

Our goal is to create a supportive environment in our industry, where aspiring legal professionals can grow and thrive.

Here are the details:

1. The KDB Mentorship Program is open to anyone interested in a career as a legal clerk, paralegal or lawyer. You do not have to yet be attending an academic program in these professions to access the program.
2. The process begins with a first meeting with either a lawyer, law clerk or paralegal at the firm. These meetings are scheduled for an hour, and you are encouraged to come prepared with specific questions you are looking for guidance on. Following the first meeting, additional meetings or communication may continue on a case-by-case basis. Everyone’s mentorship journey is different!

   3. Confirmation as to what role in the legal profession you are interested in
